9 Days Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safaris

After early breakfast, driver will pick you from the hotel reception at 07:30 am about 2 hours & 45 minutes’ drive, a breathtaking game drive in Tarangire National Park follows. Tarangire is one of Tanzania's largest National Park and a sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, leopards, and cheetah and up to six thousand elephants. You will be served picnic lunch at 12h30 to 13h00. After a full day game, overnight at Osopuko Lodge. BLD

Pick up from the hotel at around 07:30 am, drive to Lake Manyara National Park.  Lake Manyara National Park is among Tanzania’s smallest park. Drive through the lush garden is a gentle reminder that you are now in Africa. Exotic birdcalls fill the air. Enjoy a picnic lunch and afterwards you’ll continue game viewing of animals in the park.

Zebra, wildebeest, Bushbuck, Dik-dik and Guinea Fowl regularly cross your path, unbothered by your benign presence and going about their daily routines.  You’ll meander along bush tracks and explore the Lake which is home of thousands of Flamingos and River’s twists and turns, finding Elephant drinking and playing in the refreshing waters. More game drive to sunset before you drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Olea Africana Lodge. BLD.

Today you will be picked up early morning at 07:30 am after breakfast and with packed lunch.  Drive to the Serengeti National Park, you will stop at Naabi Hill for picnic lunch, after proceed to the Serengeti for game drive en-route to the lodge. Serengeti National Park, the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world. The vast Serengeti plains cover an area of about 15,000 square Kilometers and during the months of the Great Migration, is the habitat of huge numbers of wildebeest, zebra and Thomson’s gazelle. The Serengeti Kopjes, massive boulder islands of granite standing in a sea of grass, provide shelter to a great variety of plants and animals, from the elusive leopard to the tiny dik dik. You will be saved picnic lunch at the bush at 13h30 and toward to the park for a full day game drive. Late evening at 18h00 drive back to the Camp. BLD

Accommodation & Meals: Serengeti Sopa Lodge

Full days ‘discover Serengeti’ game drives. The day for the big cats – cheetahs, leopards and lions. Mostly you will go out for SUNRISE game drive at 0600am followed by b/fast at 08:00 am. More game drive till Lunch time (picnic lunch). After your picnic lunch you will proceed with your afternoon game drive en–route to Mara river area for dinner and overnight. BLD.

Accommodation & Meals: Serengeti Heritage Camp (Kogatende)

Early breakfast before you drive for a full day game drives in the Serengeti National Park. In this day you will try to follow migration groups around Mara river. In the evening drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Some of the Wildebeest’s groups don’t cross the river and you might catch them around Mara river.

Accommodation & Meals: Serengeti Heritage Camp (Kogatende)

Sunrise game drives start at 06:00am till 9:00am.  When you’ll depart Mara river area with game drives en-route to the Ngorongoro Crater rim for dinner and overnight. On the way you will visit Retima Hippo pool. BLD.

Accommodation & Meals: Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge

Rise early for breakfast before you spend a fully day exploring the crater floor.  The area is world-renowned in its reputation and very small in its scale, so you will see other safari goers. Don’t let that distract you from the beauty of the place or from the fact that this remains one of the only places on earth where you may see all of the Big Five at once: Lion, Leopard, Bull Elephant, African Buffalo and Black Rhino.  To maximize your time on the crater floor you will enjoy a special boxed lunch at a scenic picnic spot.

Your journey will take you throughout this tremendous landscape that is constantly changing as animals move to and from in search of pasture, water or east prey.

In the afternoon, it is time to depart this Garden of Eden and drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight. BB
